1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values a website can ask your browser to store and, depending on their settings, return with later requests. Local storage is a different browser facility: values remain on your device and are accessible to scripts from the same origin, but are not automatically sent as cookie headers. Privacy rules can apply to both technologies, so this policy covers them together.
The supplied website does not set HTTP cookies through its own code. It uses local storage only to remember your selection in the consent interface. There are no analytics libraries, advertising pixels, embedded videos, externally hosted fonts or interactive map embeds. The static schematic map is rendered directly by the contact page.
Homepage photographs are loaded from images.unsplash.com. These are image-delivery requests, not an installed analytics tool, but they disclose your IP address and technical request information to the image provider. The photographs use a no-referrer policy. Their delivery is not switched off by rejecting optional categories. Provider-side response headers, caching and any storage behaviour must be checked by the live operator; they cannot be established from the website files alone. See the privacy policy for more information.
2. Storage inventory
The table distinguishes storage actually used by the application from optional categories that are not installed. It is not a list of hypothetical third-party cookie names. Hosting infrastructure and externally delivered image responses must be assessed separately before launch and disclosed here if they introduce additional storage.
| Category | Name / technology | Purpose & provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | sgn-consent-v1 Local storage, not a cookie | First-party record of choice, optional category settings, policy version and timestamp. No personal identifier is generated. | Valid for 180 days; removed on the next visit after expiry, or sooner when you clear site data. |
| Analytics | None installed | No page-view measurement, session recording or audience analytics provider. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None installed | No optional personalisation, embedded map or saved content service. | Not applicable |
3. What the three choices do
“Accept All” saves an affirmative preference for optional analytics and functional categories. “Reject Non-Essential” saves both as disabled. “Preferences” opens individual controls so you can make a more granular choice. Essential preference storage remains enabled to remember your decision. Since no optional services are installed, accepting does not currently initiate additional requests or tracking. Ordinary image requests are separate from these settings and occur as homepage photographs load.
A saved preference prevents the banner from appearing again during ordinary navigation and reloads until it expires or is cleared. If your browser blocks storage, the choice applies to the current page but cannot reliably persist. The site reports this limitation through its accessibility status message. Reading the guides does not depend on accepting optional categories.
4. Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in any page footer, or the button below, to reopen the controls. Disable optional categories and save to withdraw an earlier preference. This has no effect on the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal; in the present implementation, there is no optional processing to discontinue. A future materially different service must not treat this record as unrestricted consent.
5. Browser opt-out and deletion instructions
In Chrome or Edge, open Settings, search for site data or cookies, locate this domain and delete its stored data. To block future storage, review the browser’s site-permission and privacy settings. In Firefox, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, and use Cookies and Site Data to manage or remove the domain. In Safari on macOS, open Settings, then Privacy and Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad, Safari website data controls are available through the device’s Settings application.
Menu wording can change between browser versions. Use your browser’s built-in help if these labels differ. Clearing only cookies may not remove local storage; choose the option covering website or site data. Private browsing usually removes such data when its session ends. Clearing the preference record causes the banner to return, rather than silently granting consent.
Cookie blocking does not necessarily prevent external image requests. To prevent requests to the photograph provider, use browser or content-blocking controls that block images.unsplash.com. Homepage photographs will then be unavailable, but guide text and navigation remain usable.
6. Other sites, updates and questions
External destinations, including map and municipal information links, apply their own storage policies once you visit them. The embedded photograph provider may also process technical information when its images load; see the Unsplash privacy policy. This website does not control those policies. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are not used to create a profile here; the build contains no sale, sharing or behavioural advertising mechanism. A live operator must reassess signal handling if its processing changes.
See the privacy policy for data rights and the limitations of the illustrative publisher identity. Cookie questions may be addressed to [email protected]. The actual operator must verify that mailbox, its hosting and image-delivery configuration, and this notice before launch.
